What is a Satisfaction Trial Warranty?

If you are not completely satisfied with your Kumho tire you can receive compensation it within 30 days of purchase at the same store.

Terms and Conditions of 30-Days Satisfaction Trial Warranty

1. Covered Products and Program Duration

The program period will be 12/31/2023 as date of purchase receipt. Products covers a complete set of four of more PS71, PS91, HP71, AT52, MT71, Foam & EV tires, But TBR, Commercial, Competition and not intended tires will not be covered, Valid only if the consumer refunds at the same store where you purchased it proven by the invoice.

2. Special Satisfaction Trial Warranty Period.

It is 30 days from the date of the purchase invoice of Kumho Tire. Consumer’s should keep the original Purchase invoice of tires, and when necessary present it. The customer must also present a warranty card. The Kumho Satisfaction Trial Warranty is only valid for purchased tire.

3. How to register the Satisfaction Trial Warranty?

If you are not completely satisfied with your Kumho Tire you can refund within 30 days. The consumer must keep the printed purchase invoice indicating the date of purchase and warranty card as evidence. (The same retail store form which the tire was purchased). The Special Warranty does not include the fee for exchange service, balancing, alignment, etc. In case of the mileage exceeds 3000 km after purchase is excluded from Satisfaction Trial Warranty.. The Kumho Special Satisfaction Trial Warranty Program may terminate at any timer upon notice from Kumho Tire.

4. When and where there is no Special warranty Coverage (Satisfaction Trial Coverage)

It may not be applicable when used in industrial, construction, agriculture, racing, competition, and off-road driving. (And the same goes for the content below) Tires must be returned undamaged. Tires used with inadequate pressure. The case is passed over 30 days after purchase (Date printed on the invoice). Failure to prove purchase (not keeping the invoice). Service (assembly, balancing and alignment) should be performed at the same place where the tires were purchased. Tires were not purchased by the original consumer, or invoice on behalf of third parties. Fines, citations or traffic tickets will not be covered under any conditions. Mounting, Balancing or Alignment will not be covered. Damage caused to the vehicle or to third parties.

5. Tire Replacement Process

The excluding all costs such as assembly, alignment, balancing, etc. Our retailers should use the program form of Kumho warranty card. Program form must be fully completed with customer, vehicle, and tire details. A copy of the purchase invoice must be attached to the form. If the customer is not satisfied with Kumho Tire, a refund excluding working fee can be made within 30 days. Compensation by Kumho Tire will proceed as in the general warranty process. If in doubt, ask for help from distributor technicians or he department of guarantees Kumho. This warranty may be terminated at any time by notice from Kumho Tire. Warranty may be suspended when checking abuse/misuse cases.

What is a Special Road Hazard Warranty?

In case of damage by obstacles on the road such as potholes and gutters, we will replace it with the same Kumho tire model within 150 days of purchase at the same store.

Terms and Conditions of 150 – Days Road Hazard Warranty

1. Covered Products and Program Duration

The Program Period will be 12/31/2023 as date of purchase receipt. Products covers a complete set of four or more PS71, PS91, HP71, AT52, MT71, foam & EV tires. But TBR, commercial, competition and not intended tires will not be covered. Valid only if the consumer replaces the tire at the same store where you purchased it proven by the invoice.

2. Special Road Hazard Warranty Period

It is 150 days from the date of the purchase invoice of Kumho Tire brand. Consumer should keep the original purchase invoice of the tires, in accordance with your name and when necessary, present it. The customer must also present a warranty card. The Kumho Special Road Hazard Warranty is only valid for purchased tire. The tires replaced by the special program will no longer have the special coverage. The six-year manufacturer warranty from DOT, covering technical manufacturing failures, materials, and/or qualitative defects will apply.

3. How to register the Special Road Hazard Warranty?

The consumer must keep the printed purchase invoice indicating the date of purchase and warranty card as evidence, in case the tire is accidentally damaged within 150 days, the consumer must present the printed purchase invoice and warranty card at the same retail store from which the tire was purchased. Obtain the dealer report if the damage will be repairable or if the tire will be replaced by a new tire. The Special Warranty does not include the fee for exchange service balancing alignment, etc.

4. When and where there is no Special Warranty Program Coverage (Road Hazard Coverage)

It may not be applicable when used in industrial, construction/agriculture/racing/competition/Off road (And the same goes for the content below) Damage caused by vandalism. Tires used with inadequate pressure. The case is passed over 150 days after purchase. Failure to prove purchase (not keeping the invoice). Service (assembly, balancing and alignment) should be performed at the same place where the tires were purchased. Tyres was not purchased by the original consumer, or invoice on behalf of third parties. Minor damages that can be repaired safely. Tires repaired before the consumer makes a special warranty claim. Fines, citations, or traffic tickets will not be covered under any conditions, Mounting, balancing or alignment will not be covered. Damage caused to the vehicle or to third parties.

5. Tire Replacement Process (the same tire)

The amount of compensation will be the final price stated in the purchase invoice, excluding any and all costs such as assembly, alignment, balancing, etc. Program form must be fully completed with customer vehicle and tire details. A copy of the purchase invoice must be attached to the form. The tire of the same model and size as the one on the purchase invoice must be replaced. Distributor does not have the same size and product; customer should discuss it with Kumho. In case of the mileage exceeds 12,000 km after purchase is excluded from Road Hazard Warranty. This warranty may be terminated at any time by notice from Kumho.
